The classic Annapurna Circuit is one of the world's most famous treks, offering an incredible diversity of landscapes. From lush subtropical forests and terraced rice paddies to arid, desert-like cliffs in the rain shadow of the Annapurnas, this trek culminates in crossing the formidable Thorong La Pass.

Day-by-Day Itinerary
Arrival in Kathmandu
Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel. Trek briefing and preparation.
Drive to Jagat (1,300m)
A long but scenic drive from Kathmandu along the Prithvi Highway to the trek starting point.
Trek to Dharapani (1,860m)
The trek begins, following the Marsyangdi River through charming villages and forests.
Trek to Chame (2,670m)
Continue through the Manang district, with great views of Annapurna II and Lamjung Himal.
Trek to Pisang (3,200m)
The landscape becomes more arid. Walk through a dramatic, steep valley to reach Pisang.
Trek to Manang (3,540m)
Choose between upper or lower routes. The upper route offers spectacular views. Arrive in the large village of Manang.
Acclimatization Day in Manang
Explore the area. A short hike to Gangapurna Lake or a viewpoint is recommended for acclimatization.
Trek to Yak Kharka (4,050m)
Ascend gradually into higher alpine terrain, leaving the tree line behind.
Trek to Thorong Phedi (4,450m)
A short trek to the base of the Thorong La Pass. Rest and prepare for the big day tomorrow.
Cross Thorong La Pass (5,416m), Trek to Muktinath (3,760m)
A very early start for a long, challenging day. Cross the pass and descend steeply to the holy site of Muktinath.
Drive to Jomsom (2,720m) and explore
Visit Muktinath temple in the morning. Afterwards, take a scenic drive through the windy Kali Gandaki valley to Jomsom.
Fly to Pokhara
A spectacular morning flight from Jomsom to Pokhara, flying between the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges.
Rest Day in Pokhara
Relax by Phewa Lake, explore the city, or try paragliding. Pokhara is a beautiful city to unwind.
Drive/Fly to Kathmandu
Return to Kathmandu by tourist bus or an optional flight.
Leisure Day in Kathmandu
A buffer day for any delays and for souvenir shopping or sightseeing.
Final Departure
Transfer to the airport for your flight home.
